New university textbook

In September 2025, a new university textbook was published by the SUA Publishing House in Nitra

Knowledge of professional English is an important part of the preparation of students in the field of agriculture, food and landscape design. The textbook Agricultural English Grammar by the author Mgr. Eva Matušeková, PhD. from the Centre of Languages of SUA in Nitra is intended for students of the faculties of FBFS, FAFR and FHLE of SUA in Nitra and serves as basic material for the subject Intermediate level - English language for two semesters.

This university textbook serves as a basis for the grammar part of the subject. Individual chapters focus on grammatical phenomena important for professional English and are supplemented with exercises with terminology from the field of agriculture, food and landscape design. The content is prepared in such a way as to enable the gradual consolidation of grammatical knowledge and its practical use in both professional and academic environments. Emphasis is placed on connecting grammar with professional language, thereby supporting students' ability to read and understand professional literature and communicate within their field.
