Tailor-made professional German: recording new materials in Austria

At the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences, audio and video recordings for an electronic course in Economic German were created from May 19th to 22nd 2026, where the SUA Language Centre in Nitra also participates as part of the project Action Austria-Slovakia.

The joint project is focused on the modern teaching materials for Economic German and Marketing at language level B1. The result will be a course in the LMS Moodle environment, which will offer students practically oriented activities, authentic situations and materials usable in professional communication.

The project meeting was attended by Mgr. Ivana Grežová, PhD. and Mgr. Stanislava Gálová, PhD., authors of selected chapters and scenarios of the prepared teaching materials. In cooperation with Austrian and Hungarian colleagues, they participated in the realization of audio and video recordings, which will form part of individual lessons. The recordings will help students develop understanding, vocabulary and communication skills in the context of economics and marketing.
